Ossining Man Charged With Three Felonies

CORTLANDT, N.Y. - An Ossining man is facing three felony charges after he was accused by New York State Police of driving drunk in the Town of Cortlandt and in possession of phencyclidine, also known as PCP or angel dust.

George W. Hamilton, 53, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine; felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, 250 milligrams of phencyclidine, and felony driving while intoxicated because of a previous conviction in the last 10 years.

He was also charged with three traffic infractions while. The arrest took place about 2:30 a.m. June 30, on Regina Avenue.

Hit and Run, DWI Charges Ronald V. Clark, 71, of Putnam Valley, was charged with misdemeanor leaving the scene of an injury accident, misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent, and misdemeanor DWI. The incident took place on State Route 6 at Canal Street. He was arrested at 1:28 p.m., July 4.

Assault Richard J. Anderson, 47, of Cortlandt, was charged with misdemeanor assault. He was arrested at 8:30 p.m. July 4. The incident was reported July 1, at 4:33 p.m.

DWI Alexander S. Lierberman, 26, of Mohegan Lake, was charged with misdemeanor DWI, and misdemeanor aggravated DWI, while in Putnam Valley, on North Shore Road. The incident was reported at 5 a.m., July 1.

DWI Norman Reis, 58, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08, and misdemeanor DWI. Reis was arrested on Quaker Bridge Road in the Town of Cortlandt about 11:30 p.m., July 1.

Unlicensed Operation Samantha M. Scarmozzino, 19, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with misdemeanor unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, while on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown. She was charged at 7:25 p.m., June 29.

Petit Larceny Letyzia Rodriguez, 31, of Peekskill, was charged with petit larceny in the Town of Cortlandt, at 2094 E. Main St., just after 5 p.m. June 29.
