Troopers stopped the suspect, identified as Miguel A. Guaman-Yuqui, on Interstate 84 for traveling in excess of 95 miles per hour on Sunday, March 6, police report.
A subsequent investigation revealed that the suspect was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop, according to police.
Guaman-Yuqui supplied a breath sample that revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication, officials report.
Guaman-Yuqui was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, according to police.
He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Southeast Justice Court on Thursday, March 31, officials report.
