After a several month long investigation, State Police of the Cortlandt Bureau of Criminal Investigation, arrested and charged four suspects Monday, May 12 with second-degree, a felony, according to a police report.
State Police previously responded to an incident on Nov. 22, 2013, when a person reported being "jumped by more than one person, beat up and his XBox One was ripped from his hands," according to the state police report.
The four men charged were 21-year-old Albert Tapia, of Cortlandt; 21-year-old Justin Landron, of Croton-On-Hudson; 19-year-old Emilie Vanca, of Peekskill; and 20-year-old Philip Vitiello of Putnam Valley.
All four suspects were arraigned in the Town Of Cortlandt Justice Court on Monday, May 12 and remanded to the Westchester County Jail. The bail was set at $25,000 for Tapia and Landron, $10,000 for Vitiello and $500 for Vanca. Tapia, Landron, Vitiello, and Vanca are scheduled to reappear in the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on Thursday, May 15.
