CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Firefighters in Croton battled a large brush fire in Croton Point Park on Saturday.
The fire was first reported at 5:37 p.m.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, according to Sgt. John Barirde, and did not spread to any buildings. There were no injuries, according to Barirde.
The fire department dropped water from the air, while also using pumper trucks, tankers and ladder trucks to fight the fire, according to Barirde.
