CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department will continue to be led by the current top chiefs following a vote by department members on Thursday.
Chiefs traditionally serve a two-year term, and this year was no exception will all members voting to keep the current slate of chiefs. They include:
- Chief of Department: Matt Mansfield of Chemical Engine Company No. 1.
- First Assistant Chief: Chris Colombo of Washington Engine Company No. 2.
- Second Assistant Chief: Chris Pesavento of Columbian Hook & Ladder Company.
Following the vote, department members said they were looking forward to 2017 when they will celebrate their 125th year of service as the Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department.
