According to police, in November last year, Cortlandt resident D’Zhanre Herring was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen burglary tools after an investigation revealed that she was in possession of more than $1,000 in stolen merchandise.

The 21-year-old was due to appear in court in May, and a bench warrant ordering her arrest was issued by the Town of Cortlandt Court when she failed to show up for the proceedings.

The New York State Police describe Herring as 5-foot, 6-inches, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in Marlborough, N.Y.

The New York State Police is asking anyone with information about Herring’s whereabouts to contact them by phone at (914) 769-2600 or email crimetip@troopers.ny.gov. The police have cautioned anyone not to approach her and to contact them as soon as possible.
