YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Police charged a Cortlandt man with criminal contempt for allegedly violating an order of protection on Friday, officials said.
Vincent M. McMorrow, 22, was arrested after authorities conducted a welfare check on an unidentified female. McMorrow was allegedly in violation of an active order of protection, police said.
McMorrow was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 24, police said.
