Sandrine A. Gracio was charged on Thursday with forgery (second degree), a Class D felony, as well as criminal possession of stolen property (fourth degree) and identity theft (second degree), Class E felonies.
In January of 2015, troopers were dispatched to investigate a fraud complaint. The victim reported that her credit card had been used in several businesses located in Peekskill.
Following a detailed investigation it was discovered that Gracio, who worked in the victim's home as a housekeeper, had used the victim’s credit card charging in excess of $860 in December of 2014 and in January of 2015.
Gracio was arraigned before the City of Peekskill Court and was released after posting $2,500 bail. She is scheduled to reappear in the City of Peekskill Court on September 17, 2015.
