VERPLANCK, N.Y. - Vincent John Serafino of Verplanck died Dec. 16. He was 68.
Serafino was born Jan. 29, 1946, in Martone, Calabria, Italy, to Salvatore and Livia Serafino. He worked at IBM in East Fishkill for 25 years.
Serafino is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Vincent (Victoria); daughter, Gina (Joseph) Roggio; three grandchildren; sisters, Angela Labate, Cathy (Tony) Campea, Luciana (Sal) De Fusco and Piera (Charles) Graven; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Marisa Serafino; and brother, Pasquale Serafino.
Calling hours are Thursday, Dec. 18 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Cortlandt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19 at St. Patrick's Church in Verplanck. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Verplanck.
