CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. ? Steven M. Berko of Cortlandt Manor died Dec. 14. He was 90.
Berko was born in 1922. He served in the Navy in World War II and was a truck driver for Fleischmann's and Nabisco Brands for 35 years.
He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #746 and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #744.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Matthews Berko; two daughters, Joanne (Kenneth) Zwick, of Peekskill, and Barbara (Richard) Boughton, of Putnam Valley; three stepchildren, Nancy Deceare, and Joseph and James DiBari; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Estelle, in 1978.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
