CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. - Stephen V. Stroub of Cortlandt Manor died Aug. 19. He was 88.
Stroub was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Tarrytown, to Steven and Jenny Maraziti Stroub. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a driver for Anchor Motor Freight in Tarrytown.
Stroub is survived by his wife, Helen Stroub of Cortlandt Manor; daughter, Jo-Ann McGinness of Cortlandt Manor; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen John Stroub, Sr.
Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at St. Columbanus Church, Cortlandt Manor. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
