DiMaio was born March 15, 1942. He graduated from Yonkers High School, where he was captain of the football team and continued in college. He was a woodworks craftsman.
DiMaio is survived by his son, Ralph; daughter, Melissa; a granddaughter; sisters, Yvonne and Louise; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Roland and Robert; and sisters, Delores and Adrianna.
Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 23 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at the funeral home.
