CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Croton-on-Hudson resident Nancy L. Adams died on Sunday, Jan. 31. She was 69.
She was born in Ossining, on April 27, 1946, to Earl James and Aletha N. (Rogers) Stephens.
Adams worked as a ticket agent for Metro-North and retired after more than 40 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Howard "Boots" Adams; children Noah Adams and Jodi Anderson; siblings Brieant Stephens, Carol Wetherwax and Virginia Taggart; and grandchildren Noah Adams Jr., Dennis Adams and Jordan Anderson.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson. Cremation services will be private.
