CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. Marie E. Irwin of Croton-on-Hudson died Monday, Aug. 27, at her home. She was 90.
Irwin was born Jan. 8, 1922, in New York City to William and Mae Weiss Tracy. She was married to Joseph B. Irwin, who died in 1995.
She is survived by six children, Stephen Irwin, Michael Irwin, Joanne Campbell, Susan Sammon, Mary Mora and Laura Rickett. She was predeceased by a son, John Irwin, in 2004.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home in Croton-on-Hudson. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, N.Y.
