CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Inge Cseh, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, died Friday, May 20. She was 83.
She was born June 16, 1932, in Austria, the daughter of the late Otto and Marianne (Egen) Hoseman.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bela Cseh, in 2012. They lived their lives together to the fullest for more than 40 years loving nature by hiking, swimming, skiing and traveling all over the world. They also shared a love for animals. In her early years, she was a pioneer for women working in the corporate business world as she retired from Reader’s Digest 25 years ago. She also volunteered for many years on the Croton Caring Committee and at the Bronx Zoo.
She is survived by her three nieces, Andrea Rahl, Lydia (John) Kaplan and Marian (Walter) Snik; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and one great-great-nephew.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, Ossining.
