CROTON, N.Y. - Doris M. Wasilchuk, of Croton, previously from Ossining, died Aug. 28. She was 86.
Wasilchuk was born May 1, 1927. She was a member with the famous female dance troupe, the Roxyettes with the Roxy Theater in New York City. During her tenure with the Roxyettes, she worked with such acts as the Flying Wallendas and Ray Bolger. She was a member of the Cortlandt, Springvale and Ossining Senior Associations.
Wasilchuk is survived by her sons, Paul and Bruce; daughters, Laura and Holly; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Wasilchuk of Ossining.
Calling hours are Saturday, Aug. 31 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.. at Dorsey. A private graveside service will be held at Dale Cemetery in Ossining Wednesday, Sept. 4.
