Yonkers Teen Charged with Assault in Cortlandt

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – A 16-year-old Yonkers resident was charged with misdemeanor assault after New York State police say he punched a victim in the face at the Cortlandt Town Center.

On Sunday, just before 10 p.m., police say Arlind Muriqi punched a victim in the face, intentionally causing physical injury. Muriqi was released on his own recognizance after the incident. He is due in court on Dec. 9 at 9 a.m.
