Armchair Excursion Along Hudson The Croton Yacht Club will discuss the ecology of the Hudson River and the importance of protecting estuaries and their inhabitants. The seminar begins at 7:30 p.m.; doors open at 7. This event is free, no registration required. The Croton Yacht Club is at 6 Elliot Way, Croton.
Saturday, March 31
Easter Egg Scramble The Village of Buchanan will host an Easter egg hunt beginning at 11 a.m. sharp! Special eggs will have tickets and prizes, and the Easter bunny will be present for pictures.
Croton budget work session The Croton Police, Fire and EMS budgets will be discussed at this special work session. The session will begin at 1 p.m. and will likely continue for three hours at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck St., Croton-on-Hudson. Indoor tag sale A giant indoor tag sale will be held at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, on West Brook Drive in Cortlandt Manor. The sale begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Little Orphan Animals.
Sunday, April 1
Bathing Suit Boot Camp A former Rockette will host a one-hour Cardio City boot camp class at Croton Landing. No registration is required. The class is $10 and begins at 9:15 a.m. Children and strollers are welcome. The class will take place at Croton Landing Park; follow Elliot Way past Senasqua Park to reach Croton Landing.
Photographers of Northern Westchester This event features nearly 100 photographers, all based in northern Westchester. Some are professional, others are simply snapshot enthusiasts. The show begins at 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2021 Albany Post Road, Croton-on-Hudson.
