Monday, March 19

• Croton-on-Hudson Trustees – The village board meets at 8 p.m. at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck St. Visit the village website for more information.

• Town of Cortlandt Work Session – The Town Board will meet to discuss current events, and will not likely take any legislative action. The meeting begins at 7 p.m., Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady St.

Tuesday, March 20

• Buchanan Village Election – From 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Buchanan will hold its elections. The village has only one voting location, Village Hall, 236 Tate Ave. Check out our articles for more information on the candidates.

• Budget Workshop – The Croton-Harmon Board of Education will hold a budget workshop at 7:30 p.m. in the Croton-Harmon High School Community Room. Croton-Harmon High School is at 36 Old Post Road, Croton-on-Hudson.

Wednesday, March 21

• Fine Art Digital Workshop – The Hendrick Hudson Free Library will host a digital photo workshop, learning how to create landscapes, botanicals and still lifes with Lori Adams. Composition, light, movement, color and technical concerns will be discussed. Registration is required. Call 914-739-5654 for more information.

Thursday, March 22

• Midday Matinee – “The Big Year” (PG-13), a lighthearted comedy starring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson, will be shown at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library beginning at 1:30 p.m.
