Peekskill and Land of Oz Connection: 78 p.m. While attending school in Peekskill, L. Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, found inspiration for his novel. Learn about Peekskills connection to the real-life Yellow Brick Road and Baums history with Peekskill and the Hudson River Valley from City of Peekskill Historian John Curran. This talk will take place at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library, 185 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose.
