Village Will Begin Leaf Pick Up on Halloween

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Leaf pickup for the Village of Croton will begin on Halloween. The department of public works will begin vacuuming leaves on Oct. 31, in the morning, and will work until 7:30 p.m., or as the weather permits.

The village said it will schedule additional leaf pick up days as the season goes on.

No twigs or branches should be in leaf piles, as this could damage equipment and slow the process. Bagged leaves will not be picked up.
