The expanded haunted attraction features a Crypt Walk, a Haunted Wine Cellar, a Creepy Morgue, Tunnels of Doom and new this year, the Zombie Zone and the Pumpkin Blaze, according to the newspaper's story.

Also, the entire attraction now is indoors, which will eliminate any weather worries – something that plagued the attraction in the past, according to the article.

Scared By The Sound’s season continues through Nov. 2. It is open weekends only, as well as Halloween, of course. It is at 2305 Crompond Road at the intersection with Route 202). Admission is $15.50.
