Roadwork, Accidents Cause Closures on County Roads

PELHAM, N.Y. – Roadwork and an accident caused some closures on highways in Westchester County  Monday morning.An accident occurred on the Taconic State Parkway in the southbound area of the Underhill Avenue exit, CR 131 in Yorktown, and has blocked the right shoulder, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.Road maintenance operations closed the right lane of I-95 southbound from after Exit 17, Larchmont, to before Exit 18A, Fenimore Road, until 2:30 p.m., according to the New York State Thruway Authority.
