CORTLANDT-- Richard Wikane, 66, of Cortlandt Manor died on August 26, 2011. Wikane was born May 15, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Rolf and Ethel Wikane. He married Carol Williams on Nov. 25, 1965. Wikane was a senior associate analyst for IBM and retired in 1991.
He later worked part time for Frankys Superette, in Hopewell Junction, for eleven years. WIkane is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Christine Miller (Richard) Lynn, son Richard, brother George, sister Carol, and granddaughter Kayla. He was predeceased by his daughter Judy.
The family will be receiving friends at the Yorktown Funeral Home on Wednesday August 31, 2011 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. Religious service will be at 6:30p.m. Wednesday Aug. 31, 2011.In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) Fund www.VHL.org.
