CORTLANDT, N.Y. — State Police in Cortlandt will not charge a distraught mother who took her 5-year-old daughter from her home and went missing for two hours Friday, lohud.com reported.
The woman's disappearance triggered an Amber Alert about 6:30 p.m., and she and her child were found about 8:40 p.m. unharmed and the alert canceled, lohud.com.
