Ossining Man Charged with DWI in Croton

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – An Ossining man was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated Friday night, after he was pulled over for speeding, said Croton Police. Thomas Barcia, 33, was charged with felony DWI after Croton police pulled him over for speeding on Route 9 Northbound, just before 2 a.m.

Barcia, of Seneca Road in Ossining, was released on $250 bail. He is due in court on November 30.

Friday, November 11

6:40 a.m. A resident of the 100 block of Truesdale Drive called Croton Police to report a leaking underground propane tank. The caller said they had not called the propane company to service the tank, since they hadn’t used it since they moved into their house several years ago. Croton Fire Department responded to the incident.

9:33 p.m.

An employee of Oil City reported to Croton Police that two white males pumped $71 worth of gas into their Nissan sedan, and drove away without paying for it. Croton Police said further information could come fourth pending an investigation.

Sunday, November 13

10:58 p.m. Delvin Arroyave, 25, of Brook Street in Peekskill, was arrested and charged with felony forgery, after being arrested while operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, and signing the wrong name to his fingerprint sheet, police say. Arroyave was also arrested for two outstanding bench warrants from New York City, both misdemeanors. Arroyave was remanded to Westchester County Jail pending $5,000 bail.

Wednesday, November 16

11:29 p.m.  Hoyt Kenny, 29, of Lakeland Avenue in Mohegan Lake, was charged with criminal mischief. Croton Police say Kenny damaged the tire and door of a car in Croton, and would not release further details pending an investigation. Kenny was arraigned before judge Watkins, and bail was set at $30,000 due to prior convictions.
