The flag was hanging in an apartment at 776 Main St., in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
After an uproar last year by the public, and with warnings from the rental management company, the flag was taken down.
Last week, the flag was spotted again, but the landlord, Chris Orefice, president of Integrity Property Management, said on Wednesday, Feb. 19, that the tenant told him it was his right to hang the flag and he had no plans to take it down.
Orefice said the only recourse he has is to not renew the tenant's lease when it is time for renewal and declined to comment further.
Attempts to reach the tenant were unsuccessful.
