CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The mother of 6-year-old Lacey Carr, who was found unconscious along with her daughter in their Croton=On-Hudson home, has been upgraded to serious condition at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.
Both were taken to Phelps where Lacey was pronounced dead. Dymes had previously been in critical condition, according to Tina Dorfman, a spokeswoman for Phelps.
Dymes and Lacey were found by Lacey's father, David Carr.
Lucian Chalfen, a spokesman for the Westchester District Attorney's Office said they are still waiting for the final autopsy report on Lacey. Chalfen said police have not yet spoken to the parents.
Police have ruled out carbon monoxide as a cause. Dymes and Lacey lived at the home with Dymes' father, Kevin.
