MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y.-- New York State Police arrested a 24-year-old male from Mohegan Lake after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's son.
Police arrested Johnathan A. Witherspoon, 24, following a report of a domestic dispure and assault at Witherspoon's residence after he allegedly assaulted the woman, 23, and her son, 4. Police said the victims were not seriously injured and declined medical attention. Witherspoon was charged with one court of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of criminal obstruction of breathing and bloodflow.
He was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
