The newly formed initiative -- "Up and Up Action Initiative" -- met at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Croton to discuss how small communities across the country need to be informed about Trump policies, said News 12.
The church, located at 2021 Albany Post Road, said on Facebook it was happy to host the organization: "We are honored to be providing a place for activists and organizers and concerned community members to come together and make plans moving forward for justice.
"Groups are meeting to address racial injustice, discrimination protection, the environment, and more."
Group organizers said they expect additional rallies to be held across the country this week leading up to Friday's inauguration, according to News 12.
