VERPLANCK, N.Y. Francis Carl Frank Matranga, 46, of Verplanck, died on Nov. 26. Matranga was born in Sleepy Hollow, to Paul J. and Helen (Beccue) Matranga, on May 31, 1965. Matranga was a self-employed skilled carpenter.
Matranga is survived by his parents, as well as Linda Mungai and Cynthia L. Matranga, son Francis Carl Jr., daughter Chiara Lynn, brothers Paul Jr. and Anthony, his goddaughter Amber Newman, and Fermina Mungai.
Reposing will take place at the Cortlandt Funeral Home, Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., and a private cremation will follow.
