Four Suspects Charged in Mohegan Lake Burglary

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – A 911 call led to the arrest of four burglary suspects in the Town of Cortlandt, at least one was a nearby neighbor of the victim.

Just after 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, New York State Police received a 911 call describing a burglary in progress, at 3479 Lexington Ave., Mohegan Lake. Four suspects were arrested in connection with the burglary, at least one was a nearby neighbor of the victim.

Leozy Culberson, 32, of 3489 Lexington Ave., Mohegan Lake, and Elmetia Gibson, 20, of 3230 Lexington Ave., Rayshawn Sharrock, 30, of 807 Main St., Peekskill, and Sheriffe A. Baker, 23, of 3195 E. Main St., Cortlandt Manor were all arrested by New York State Police and charged with felony burglary.

Police arrested the four suspects after interviewing eyewitnesses and conducting on-scene investigation. Police also received a description of the electronics stolen from the home.

All four people were arraigned by Judge McCarthy in the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court, and were remanded to Westchester County Jail. A court date is still pending.
