Monday, Feb. 27

Homework Help A New York State certified teacher will be available to help students up to sixth grade with their homework, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Croton Free Library. The teacher will also be available at the same times on Wednesday afternoon. This is a free drop-in program. The Croton Free Library is located at 171 Cleveland Drive, Croton-on-Hudson. Cortlandt Town Board Meeting The Cortlandt Town Board will meet to take legislative action on current issues in the Town of Cortlandt. The meeting begins at 7 p.m., agendas are available online at the town’s website.

Tuesday, Feb. 28

Buchanan Village Court The Village of Buchanan will hold court at 7 p.m., at Village Hall, located at 236 Tate Ave., Buchanan.

Croton Planning Board The Village of Croton-on-Hudson Planning Board will hold a public hearing to discuss permitting of a single-family home near Half Moon Bay Drive. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m., all application materials are available for public viewing online, at the following directory. The Croton Municipal Building is located at 1 Van Wyck St., Croton-on-Hudson.

Genealogy Workshop Registration Begins The Hendrick Hudson Free Library will hold a free Genealogy workshop, registration for the March 13th workshop. Call 914-739-5654.

Wednesday, Feb. 29

Cortlandt Emergency Food Bank Drive This is the last day you can bring you canned goods into the Croton Free Library to donate to the Cortlandt Emergency Food Bank. The food bank serves families once per month with emergency food rations. Suggested donations are cereal, canned goods, macaroni and cheese, pasta, rice and foods children love! Cortlandt Planning Board The Town of Cortlandt Planning Board will hold a work session to discuss properties currently in the planning process in the town. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., at Cortlandt Town Hall, located at 1 Heady St., Cortlandt Manor.
