CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Cortlandt, Buchanan and Croton-On-Hudson last week:

Ten Westchester County schools including Croton-Harmon and Hendrick Hudson high schools were named to Newsweek's top 500 schools recently.
Manjit S. Dhillon, a Cortlandt Manor resident, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation, speed zone in traffic and an uninspected motor vehicle by Yorktown police on Sunday, Sept. 7.
An automobile accident caused delays on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown Heights on Wednesday morning.
