CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. Dani Douglas led all scorers with 17 points to lead the Croton girls basketball team to a 45-41 victory over Hendrick Hudson in Friday's regular-season finale.
The Tigers, who finished the season with a record of 11-7 and await next weeks Section 1 postseason seedings, outscored the Sailors 17-10 in the third quarter to break an 18-18 halftime deadlock and held off a late run by Hen Hud to earn the win.
Grace Mulligan scored 10 points, Kaye Dymes added nine points and Bella Addeo contributed eight points for Croton.
Croton outscored Hen Hud 14-5 at the free throw line, which proved to be the difference in the game.
