Cortlandt Woman Charged With Grand Larceny

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – A Cortlandt Manor woman was charged with grand larceny, after New York State Police say she stole and pawned $22,000 worth of jewelry from a home invasion.

Police say Judith A. Hickey, 47, of Cortlandt Manor was arrested after an intensive investigation. Investigators tracked jewelry from a Cortlandt Manor home invasion to pawn shops in Dutchess and Westchester Counties, eventually identifying Hickey as a suspect.

Police say that additional charges are pending the thefts. The arrest was made by Cortlandt Barracks Investigator Sean Morgan and the State Police Bureau of Investigations.

Hickey was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court, here she is being held on $1,500 bail. She is due on court on Dec. 30 at 9 a.m.
