CORTLANDT, N.Y. The Cortlandt train station on the Metro-North Railroad will have a scheduled power outage from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18.
Rail service will still be available at the station, but all vending machines and ticket machines will be out of service during the outage. Metro-North has waived the onboard ticket purchasing fee, since patrons will not be able to purchase tickets at the station.
The tickets will be the same price as they normally cost when bought inside the station. The station is under construction and periodically power is shut off during the process.
