Cops: Cortlandt Teen Crashes Into Yard, Gets DWI

CORTLANDT, N.Y. - A Cortlandt Manor teenager was charged with misdemeanor aggravated driving while intoxicated after crashing a Jeep into a neighbor's front yard on Crescent Drive in Cortlandt Manor, at about 6:30 a.m., Sunday. State Police said the teen crashed a Jeep into trees and shrubs in the neighbor's lawn. The 16-year-old resident was issued traffic tickets returnable in Town Justice Court on June 8.

Graffiti Arrest: Andrew T. Rom, 21, of Carmel, N.Y. was charged Sunday with two misdemeanors after State Police said he was found drawing on the bathroom walls with markers by Cortlandt Town Center DSW store management. Troopers said he was charged with misdemeanor making graffiti and misdemeanor Possession of Graffiti Instruments. He was issued a ticket returnable to Town Justice Court on June 8.

Wal-Mart Shoplifting: State Police say Wal-Mart security personnel reported that a woman was stopped Sunday when she attempted to leave the store without paying for $136 worth of merchandise. Michelle Licari, 31, of Carmel, N.Y., was charged with petit larceny by State Police and released with a ticket returnable to Town Justcie Court on June 8.
