Charles J. Cook Memorial Pool to Open June 4

The Charles J. Cook Memorial Pool in the Town of Cortlandt will open on June 4 for weekends, before opening full-time on the weekend of June 20. The pool is located at 293 Furance Dock Road.

The summer swimming season will run through September 5, Labor Day, and will be staffed with certified life guards and site management. Season passes are available for families, individuals, and children. Patrons can also attend the pool on a daily admission fee basis. There is a reduced daily admission fee for adults and children coming to the pool after 4 p.m. Children under the age of four can use the pool for free.

Two-week passes are also available for town residents. Proof of residency is required when registering for a season swim pass or two week pass.

Be sure to check the schedule of Charles J. Cook Memorial Pool before attending because there are irregular swim meets, and for the week of June 20 through the 24, the pool will open at noon.
