Buchanan Resident Faces Multiple Misdemeanors

BUCHANAN, N.Y. – A Buchanan resident was arrested Thursday morning, just before 2 a.m., and charged with two misdemeanors. Justin Mangini, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors.

Mangini was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, and having controlled substance in non-original container. He was originally pulled over for speeding in Mohegan Lake, with dim headlights. Mangini received an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court.

Nov. 26

12:30 a.m. Anthony F. Sano, 54, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with driving while intoxicated. It was Sano’s first offense, he was pulled over just after the Bear Mountain Parkway in Peekskill.

Nov. 27

9:15 p.m.  Daniel E. Medina, 25, of Cortlandt Manor, was arrested in the Town of Somers, off of Route 295. He was charged with criminal contempt.

6:45 p.m. Rudy A. Lopez, 20, of Croton, was pulled over off of Route 9, and charged with operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content.

9:45 p.m.  Arlind Muriqi, 16, of Yonkers, was charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury. He was arrested at the Cortlandt Town Center.

Nov. 28

8:01 p.m. Alix Villalona, 25, of Peekskill, was arrested at the Cortlandt Town Center, and charged with misdemeanor petit larceny. Villalona was issued an appearance ticket.

10 p.m. Thomas Cothren, 17, or Cortlandt Manor, was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
