To the editor:

In Tuesday’s Croton-on-Hudson election, there is only one team that has a proven track record of success and a positive vision for Croton’s future. The Democratic Village Board has kept taxes under control while maintaining excellent services and making critical infrastructure improvements that will benefit Croton for years to come.

We've enhanced open spaces. We’re working on exciting energy initiatives that will save residents money on their electric bills. We’re developing a walkway between Senasqua Park and Croton Landing. And the Harmon rezoning we fought for is beginning to bear fruit.

All the distractions attempted by our opponents can’t obscure the simple truth that things are going really well in Croton. That doesn’t happen by accident, and we can’t keep it going without your support in this election.

It’s been a tremendous honor for me to serve our community as trustee. I’m proud of our record and eager to do even more over the next two years for the village that we all love. That's why I'm asking Croton voters to support Leo Wiegman, Maria Slippen, and me Nov. 3.
