CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. Henrietta Ostrander Mitch, of Croton-on-Hudson, died May 28. She was 87.
Mitch was born Aug. 31, 1924, in Peekskill. She graduated from Peekskill High School in 1942 and married Rocco Mitch in 1946. He predeceased her in 1992.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Newell; a son, Gary; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home in Croton-on-Hudson. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Croton.
