CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Mary "Molly" Martin, a longtime resident of Croton-on-Hudson, died of lung cancer on Dec. 2. She was 67.
Born Apr. 1, 1944, she was the eldest daughter of Richard C. and Harriet Sayre Noyes of Farmington, Conn. She attended local schools in Farmington, Oxford School and Andover Abbot Academy. Mrs. Martin received her bachelor's and nursing degrees from Columbia University.
In 1969, she married Dr. Eric C. Martin. For many years, she was closely involved with the Croton Caring Committee.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, her mother and her sisters Carolyn Parrack and Phyllis Albanese. She was predeceased by her father Richard Noyes.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at St. Augustine's Church in Croton-on-Hudson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders, P.O. Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or the Croton Caring Committee, 38 Penfield Avenue, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520.
