CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. Carol G. Thompson of Cortlandt Manor died Jan. 10 at the age of 74.
The daughter of Frank and Mildred Raymond, she was born Sep. 6, 1937 in Buchanan. Thompson was an active Ladies Auxiliary member of Continental Village Fire Department in Garrison, N.Y. for many years. Her great joys were cooking and caring for her family.
She is survived by her sons Harold, Jr., Steven (Linda), Edward, Sr. (Cindy) and Robert (Deb) Thompson, her brothers Frank and William Raymond, her sister Charlotte Travis, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Thompson in 1988.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home in Montrose. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, followed by private cremation services.
