Audrey Kenlon, 84, Cortlandt Manor Volunteer

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – Audrey M. Kenlon of Cortlandt Manor died April 1. She was 84.

A lifelong lover of animals, she volunteered at Little Orphan Animals in Cortlandt Manor and supported many charities.

She was born Jan. 8, 1928 in Mt. Vernon. On April 25, 1948, she married the late William Weber in Mt. Vernon. On July 17, 1971, she married Edward Kenlon in Yonkers. He predeceased her. Kenlon previously worked as a secretary at J. Genarelli Tailor in Yonkers. 

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Raymond) Lutomski of Cortlandt Manor and Dawn (George) Dooley of Danville, Calif., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Kenlon was predeceased by her brother, John Jetter. 

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. on Friday at Assumption Church in Peekskill. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
