Support Connection, Inc. announced that it's not too late to form a Team for the walkathon.

The Support-A-Walk was established 21years ago by local residents. It is held to bring attention to the needs of people living with breast and ovarian cance and to raise funds for Support Connection’s free support services for those living with these diseases.

Each year, thousands of people take part in this worthwhile event. Close to 10,000 people attended last year. Participants complete a three-mile walk, often in honor of loved ones – a celebration of life and a tribute to those affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Families, friends, coworkers and teams of walkers are invited to walk together as a Team.

Individuals are also welcome. Donations are accepted from participants as well as those who are unable to attend. People can also raise funds for the event without attending.
