Outdoor Movie Season on Hudson Has Arrived

The summer outdoor movie season begins now, with Kolping-on-Hudson's screening of "Despicable Me," in Montrose on Saturday, with the Hudson River as a backdrop. The movie screening will offer a BBQ dinner for purchase at 6:30 p.m., and pool time for kids, before the movie screening.

Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy the movie, cartoons first, starting at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. This is just the beginning of the summer movie season, with Senasqua Park hosting movie screenings throughout the summer, starting July 6 with "Yogi Bear."

Senasqua Park will also host a concert series, starting June 24 with the Croton Harmon High School bands, and the Crowley Brothers, who will play popular hits.

Kolping-on-Hudson is located at 95 Montrose Point Rd., Montrose. No outside food is allowed inside the venue, and more information is available on their website.
