CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Auditions for the children's chorus of Taconic Opera's production of "Carmen" will be held Wednesday, April 27, at the Cortlandt School of Performing Arts.
Taconic Opera is seeking boys and girls with unchanged voices in third grade and up. Children should be no taller than 4 feet 8 inches and bring a familiar song that demonstrates their range and technique, as well as a headshot and resume. They must also bring music. An accompanist will be provided.

Rehearsals will be held Wednesdays, May 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays, May 21 and 28, in the afternoon. A semistaged performance will take place at the Music Conservatory of Westchester on June 5 at 2:30 p.m.
The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts is at 24 Old Albany Post Road in Croton-on-Hudson.
