Cortlandt Hosts Community Swap Event And Furniture Drive

CORTLANDT, N.Y.-- The Town of Cortlandt will host its annual community swap event at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center on Saturday.

Residents are invited to bring clean, reusable, portable items that can be traded. Examples of good items for swap are books, housewares, toys, games and DVDs. Clothing is not allowed.

Items can be dropped off at the community center on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. or on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Cortlandt Farm Market will be on hand selling a variety of goods.

Residents can also donate furniture to the Furniture Share House, which provides for needy families throughout Westchester.
