Man Jumps To Death From Bear Mountain Bridge
A 48-year-old man jumped to his death from a Hudson Valley bridge. The incident took place on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Bear Mountain Bridge near in the town of Cortlandt in Northern Westchester County. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, New Jersey resident Aleksey P. Mikhaylov, of Northvale, was located and pronounced dead at the scene. No signs of foul play were discovered at this time, Hicks said. The Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office was on scene for the investigation.

New Update: 25-Year-Old Man From Region ID'd As Bridge Jumper
A 25-year-old Hudson Valley man has been identified as the person who jumped off an area bridge to their death. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge in Rhinebeck. The victim is Dutchess County resident Alex J. Man, Woman Charged After Missing 14-Year-Old Killed In Clermont Crash
A man and a woman from a behavioral institute for young adults and children have been charged in connection with a crash that killed a missing 14-year-old boy. The crash took place in Columbia County on Friday, Sept. 23 in Clermont on Route 9. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, Romelo Cruze was killed after being hit by a vehicle. While the State Police were investigating the fatal crash, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in in Dutchess County, located in Red Hook, reported that Cruze, a resident of their facility, was missing, Hicks said. 17-Year-Old Charged With DWI After Crash That Destroyed Historic House In Area
A 17-year-old Hudson Valley resident has been arrested for alleged DWI after destroying a much-loved historic house when his vehicle slammed into it, causing a massive fire. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 3 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 in the Hughsonville hamlet in the town of Wappinger.
